DVD Players

What’s the difference?

Are all DVD players basically the same? Well … yes, and no.

While it is true that most DVD players available today come with a variety of standard features and buzzwords, there is still a difference in quality between players.

The power supply, the clamping mechanism, the chip set providing the up-conversion, etc. all are important contributors to the quality of a DVD player.

Another important factor in considering which DVD player is right for you is the quality and size of your screen. Obviously, the bigger and better the screen image the more apparent the differences in DVD players will become.

Just remember this: if the source of your entertainment system is poor, then the rest of the chain will become affected.

At The Stereo Shoppe we try very hard to get you out of the buzzwords and acronyms and use simple terms that you can understand so that you feel like you are getting a DVD player that’s right for you.
